Meditation and breathwork
Most people believe that meditation means you must have a clear mind for it to be a successful meditation. This actually isn't the case. Our minds are designed to think, and think is what we do as busy human beings. Day after day we are bombarded by negative thoughts and worries. It is almost impossible to switch them off or block them. Switching off or blocking these thoughts is extremely difficult as most of you already know. If you try and block them, the energy surrounding these unwanted thoughts will grow stronger. Acknowledging these thoughts and holding gratitude for them is the first thing that I do as they have been generated by something deep inside you, a deep rooted fear, insecurity or even a scenario that keeps being played over and over again in your head because the guy down the road didn't agree with what you said, so you started making up different scenarios that you think should of happened instead. It doesn't matter what has created these thoughts, the bottom line is they mean something to you on some level, so accepting them for what they are and trying to understand them will move you closer to being able to release them. This takes consistent practice and focus.

Breathwork is extremely effective when combined with the powers of meditation. Laying your complete focus on your breath whilst meditating will bring your attention away from your negative thought patterns. It's still important in my opinion to acknowledge the thought patterns before bringing your focus back onto your breath. The more you do this the easier it becomes.

When you combine the two, you are slowing your brainwaves down so much that you enter a state whereby your subconscious mind is easily susceptible to new information. In this state you can then start re programming it with the information of the new life that you desire.
